When using tone mapping operators, there is an
option for saving, loading, and editing default setting for each tone
mapping operator. These default values are automatically loaded for each
operator when it is selected becoming the initial values used to
begin your fine tuning of the operator. Artizen comes with built-in
default values for each operator that can be changed. Although the existing defaults
values address many different types of HDR images, they can't address all.
Now although users can create their own XMP meta files for each operator
and each type of HDR image. This very useful and powerful feature can be very time consuming if you use
the same type of photos, which use similar camera settings.
This is the advantage of creating a custom default setting XMP file.
The Tone Mapping window has a "Auto Default" option,
which is used to automatically update your existing settings for the
currently selected tone mapping operator, once the Apply button is
clicked. If you don't want to update your default values, ensure that the
Auto Default checkbox is unchecked.
